Combi Boiler Install

Hi,

I have just bought a new house with a horrible Baxi Boiler gas fire which I want to swap for a Combi.

I have been quoted approx 3k to:
Remove the old boiler
Remove hot water cylinder and put a rad in its place
Install Alpha CD35 boiler in loft
Flue out through the roof
Filter
Flush

Too much?

The guy says the boiler is £1620 (inc VAT) but I can find it for around 1k.

Cheers,

Mick

As a whole package the price seems about right.

Make sure the gas pipe is going to be sized correctly though. I would think that it will have to be at least 28mm if this size boiler is fitted in the loft
