A few days ago, someone SPAMMed this site offering mobile phones, etc for sale (with prices in dollars). Anyway, I decided to be a nuisance to them and emailed, asking them to call me.
Sure enough, they did so. The guy had a thick Nigerian (?) accent so I could barely understand. I wasted quite a bit of his time asking if his Nokia wotsit came with Broadband access, and how many free minutes I would get, but sadly this meant that I was wasting my time. Oh: and they only accept payment by Western Union! I offered to visit him and hand over the money personally, so long as he gave me a ticket to his office in Hong Kong, but he explained patiently that his business cannot handle cash. I pretended that I could not imagine any form of payment other than handing over money, and asked why he wanted payment made to someone else, but I don't think he realised I was trying to wind him up.
If anyone else fancies receiving a call from this very wonderful human being, PM me and shall give you the email address.

why do yuo assume he is Nigerian?
He might be Kenyan.A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining and wants it back the minute it begins to rain.0 -

Every minute of his that was wasted was also a minute of your time wasted, though I suppose you were saving someone else from him during that time.
I’m sure you will get your reward in heaven.
Have you tried 419 Scambusters or whatever it is called?0 -

You gave your phone number to a scammer so that you could scam-bait them? A daring idea...0

Yes, but it is a work number, so the address cannot be traced, there is good security here, and if he rings in the middle of the night he can't wake me up.0
