In a word no! Now it is widely available from pet shops etc the formula is not as powerful. Our vet recommends the combos also, and they are much better. If you have a pet that doesn't go out much and mix with others etc, then it may be ok, but we still found a flea or two on our cat (with frontline)and she is mainly indoor. There were lots of cats living around us at the time and frontline was not good enough! Prescription wormers and flea treatments ALWAYS better IMO!
