Nod32 Help Please

I decided to not renew my Panda Antivirus this year and uninstalled it. I have downloaded the 30 day trial of Nod 32 and also the Kerio Firewall today. I asked Nod 32 to do an initial scan and it seems to do this but says all my files (on c drive) are locked - file cannot be opened may be in use by another application or operating system. Does anyone know how I unlock the files so they can be scanned. It is now downloading updates so I presume it is installed correctly.

Apologies as I am a complete novice so simple steps I can take to get NOD32 working and able to scan my files would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.

Has anyone got a suggestion to solve the above please. As an update I turned off my firewall but NOD32 still could not do its initial scan as the files are still locked. Could it be my security settings, if so should I make sure any are enabled. Thanks.

Visit this website. It is the official support forum site for NOD. It will tell you everything about the locked files whisch is common by the way and not a problem. Honest.
