Congratulations, I agree that Gretna Green is the way to go! You look gorgeous and so does your DH
. Now can I be MSE and ask how much it costs for a basic wedding there (dress and fripperies aside)?
I had the strangest dream last night...was getting married and couldn't have been too excited about it as I was doing my damndest to keep it quiet lol.
ETA: I've just googled it and would agree that a basic package is very MSE indeed.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I didn't book our wedding through a package, we booked direct with the Smiths, they own the Old Blacksmiths Shop, though I think it could be done very MSE, though, we took along 40 guests with us (immediate family & best friends only), we also splurged on hotel rooms & the Ash suite. That said, the food for the reception was fantastic for the price we paid & the service was amazing!
There was a smaller wedding the day of our wedding & the following day there were 3 weddings, all smaller, I felt that it was all very intimate & personal. I would recommend it to anyone!
Have a look at Smiths website to compare prices! Good luck!! If I can help with anything just shout!!

Lovely pics, you look so happy. Those cupcakes look wonderful!! So glad to hear you had such a lovely day...a colleague has been considering going to Gretna but was being put off by 'conveyor belt' stories she'd heard (from people who'd not actually been there!!) Will get her to look at this thread now 0 -
