money transfer - uk to us

Please advise on the options of sending money to the u.s at best rates and speed

    To be honest we have no idea of what amounts you are talking about so any concrete answer is difficult.

  • I am assuming this is to send funds to a US bank account.

    There are very few currency brokers, like myself, who will offer you the best exchange rate guaranteed, no transfer fees and same day wire transfers.

    You would need to make sure whoever you decide to use, to make sure they 'accept all fees'.

    Your bank will do it for you, but at a charge- call them and ask.

    Mine doesn't, because I hold accts in both the USA and UK with HSBC premier and they do it online for free (and at a good rate).

    My bank which is natwest charges btw 20 and 27 pounds and their exchange rate is terrible - I am losing almost 300 dollars if i use natwest
