How much to change gas supply pipe 15mm - 22mm?

Hi,
I need some work doing on our boiler/ gas pipes...
The boiler has a 15mm gas supply pipe which needs changing to 22mm, approximately 8-9 metres of it. (pretty straightforward I hope - pipe goes from meter through external wall, and along the house to the boiler - so no ripping floorboards/walls apart)
The flue requires a flue guard due to the height location of it (head level) and may *possibly* require shortening as it may be stuck too far out.
The boiler also wasn't commissioned when installed, but I've being told that when the gas supply pipe is changed, the boiler will need re-commissioning anyway.
I have two seperate workmen coming out tomorrow afternoon, but wonder if anyone knows what kind of price I should be looking at for this, so I'm not ripped off cowboy builder style

You've identified 3 separate and serious installation errors, so who installed your boiler?0

No idea, there was no paperwork with the boiler so not sure. Do you have any idea of potential cost?0 -
Your problem is that you have an illegal installation. I would doubt that many qualified gas fitters would want to touch it unless they could also notify the installation which unfortunately would mean refitting it from scratch.
I would suggest that you try to find who installed it and then, if they are registered, compel them to do the remedial work at their cost. Or, if they are not registered then sue them for the cost of the works.0 -
Might be a days work to sort. Cannot see many problems. I do this type of thing most weeks when changing boilers. I would be happy to update a boiler like thisX British Gas engineer and X BG sales adviser.
Please don,t let this put you off.0
