Timpsons - massive ripoff

When I read about some of the good work that John Timpson does, especially helping to rehabilitate offenders, I've started using their shops more - mostly for shoes (I change watch batteries myself).

I wish we had more companies like this, who make serious contributions back to society.

handy that isn't it , passing your house keys to an ex housebreaker that is now working on minimum wages

My watch is kinetic, but the wife's Casio has a battery from Timpsons.

It's a lifetime replacement, or free refills.

The chap that owns it seems nice, he goes on the radio occasionally as he says he's one of the few businesses that cannot really be done on the internet.

I think you'll find thats factored into the selection process!

Besides, you'd spot if he cut a second key.

And it'd take him ages, he'd have to try EVERY DOOR in town until he found the right one.

(I have *never* given my address when getting keys cut, and I've had lots of keys cut over the years)
