PPI Reclaim with Barclaycard

I have noticed I am still being charged PPI I have been trying to call the customer relations number bearing in mind i work 9-6 with 30mins break and there only open 9-5 and I just consently waiting in a queue one lunch i even drove out to lunch, walked round tescos and got bk to work and still no answer!! So I have now called the normal barclaycard cutomer line to ask why this hasnt been removed and to remove it and they are refusing! They are stating that because my account is with customer relations they cannot do this.
I have clearly asked for them to remove this in a recorded written letter attached to my forms and have called to cancel it still hasnt been done!! Im just so mad!! Im trying so hard to get my balance down and gone and im still paying £41 a month for PPI

So you have wrote, and rang them constantly to cancel the ppi and they have not done so yet?
I would write a further letter and tell them if this is not cancelled for as soon as possible you will complain to the (Financial Ombudsman Service FOS, also depending when you first requested they do this, I would be asking them to refund as from then as well "meanings your still paying for it.
Ask them to send a letter to confirm this has been done.

Are you also making a reclaim on the full PPI, maybe then if this is the case they will cancel when they resolve your case?? (Then you get the full amount of PPI bank with interest).

I have had the card since I was 18, 26 now. I have put in for the full claim as orginally I was mis-sold the whole thing by a very pusy advisor.
I went it just to upgrade my solo card normal account to a Visa debit as solo wasnt accept many places back then but she filled in a credit card form just telling me to tick and sign to get upgrade - Being young and no financal sense what so eva I trusted in her - Week later Barclays Silver credit card with 6750 limit I was only earning 650 a month living at home and soon started just took it as part of being a grown up having a credit card so never questioned getting the actual card through. I stupidly started using the card I have been redundent twice and the whole time sturggled to clear, even called a few times in the past to advise i was redundent i wasnt told anythign about it. I always thought it was something i had to pay to have the card like an card fee like my normal baclays account.
I take full responsiblity for the debt its self, I was the one who used it just wish on that day I was advised instead of sold to without all the lies and misleading information.
I have been doing lots of reading up on here and finding lots of help so its a big confident boost when it comes to all this! Just hope they finally bring finance education to schools!! With this I would have know what to expect!0
