Thanks for the lists FCC

gunsandbanjos The new kitty is very cute gorgeous big paws :) I've got a black one just like yours and she sits on my couch exactly like that

Off home to do weekly shop and reorganise my list.
  • [collapses in a heap on the sofa]

I'm back. [cracks open emergency beer bottle in the back of the fridge and practically inhales the contents]

    I went to the music shop. Not quite open yet. Walked from there to commence the school trousers hunt;

M&S - nothing in children's section, nothing in adults whatsoever - any grey trousers were patterned.

Walked to New Look. No grey.

Walked to River Island. No plain grey.

Walked to Hennes. No plain grey.

Walked to BHS, Tammy Girl, Dorothy Perkins, Next and Debenhams. Only black or patterned grey trousers available.

In desperation, I ventured into the worst shop in the world. Primark.

Exhausted and in pain, I found 2 half way acceptable pairs of grey trousers for £5 a pair and then queue for 25 minutes to pay for them.

Even if they only last 5 minutes or Minion is threatened with exclusion for not wearing the proscribed trousers that the single supplier says aren't proscribed and aren't in stock anyway, and would fall down as they have no waist adjustment, designed as they appear to be for fat kids, it's almost worth it to have her relatively warm and decently dressed for autumn, seeing as this year, the supplier has only got the length of compulsory skirt in that finishes 5" above the knee, which, combined with the black over knee socks, made them look like strippers.

Came back to find that she had actually done a fair job of cleaning up her mess.

Luckily, I found some lamb neck fillet at the back of the freezer and that is currently marinading in mirin and soy and the rice is plumping up in the pan.

Although I now have cat nasties to clean up and still don't have any milk. Or any more beer.

    Roll on Thursday.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

DD1 enjoyed her first day in yr1 and DD2 had a wonderful day at nursery, she said 'it makes me happy mummy':T so pleased!
not coming back on again tonight so I'll catch up on the many posts I've missed tomorrow. have a fab evening all xx

Jo-jo, chuck us a beer, I'm ready for one, I tell you!

OMG I've had a mahoosive few days, so not much flying for me! Although the house is looking a wee bit tidier....must be cleaning fairies again cos it's not me!

Loads of stuff popped up for work - ow's the time we get people wanting to sell Avon for Xmas, so I've been a bit swamped, but I have been keeping on top of the basics! New halogen oven is still rockin' my world, but I'm determined to get some stuff sold on ebay/Facebook this week if it kills me!

Next week DS goes full time, so I'm aiming for at least a couple of days where I can get to some of the overlooked jobs!
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Current Pay Off Target : £1500
