360 on PC questions

Hi -

Had a few questions about playing my 360 on my PC/laptop.
  • I connected my 360 up to my pc monitor fine, and got the picture on the screen, but the connection does not fit into my laptop, apparantly i need an adapter or something? Do you know what they are called so I can find one?
  • I can see the 360 picture on my PC monitor but can't get sound, the cables have a red and white cable, and my current speakers are a 6.1 creative set, and there is no connection for them, im not sure if they can go in the aux in or headphones socket, but if so, I guess I need some kind of splitter, again what would I need to buy for this so I can find eBay?
  • In the near future I was considering just having one screen for using computer, playing 360, and watching tv. It doesn't necessarily haev to be a TV, as I can play TV through my PC.. But, is it possible to get PC monitors that are HDTV, so I can play 360 properly?

That's it! Thanks in advance!

You can't connect your 360 monitor output to your laptop without some specialist kit. The connector on your laptop is also a monitor output.

You can get an adaptor to convert the red/white audio cables to a 3.5mm phono which your speakers should be able to use. This should be easy to pickup at Currys.

Yes, but the other way around. Many HDTVs have PC monitor inputs.
Windows is the path to the darkside...Windows leads to Blue Screen. Blue Screen leads to downtime. Downtime leads to suffering...I sense much Windows in you.
