Mortgage Problems - Bank wants money back.

Your only chance is to get it sorted with the lender ASAP, like today or tomorrow.
Your credit record is ruined and no lender in their right mind will take you where on your credit report they can see the minute you took the mortgage up you did not pay.
If there were a lender (there are some) but the interest rate will be so high..... and with the rates having increased today.....0 -
You have had a mortgage for the last 5 months and have not made any payments.
Did you not realise earlier that you had more money than you should have over the last 5 months?
Letters would have gone to the mortgaged address, unless you asked for all mailing to go to another address0 -
So what happened? I assume you have been to the lender today to sort it all out?0

Pop into a branch and bring the letter with you. They will have everything stored on their system. They will be able to sort it out. If not, just complain. If your in the wrong! Your wrong. If not, your not! So just pop in and sort it out.

Remember to say thank you to people who help you out!
Also, thank you to people who help me out.0 -
It's not the bank account I would be worried about losing but the roof over my head!
Surely they must be in process of taking action after 3 missed payments let alone 5.0 -
Totally agree with Teddy - it's absolutely and totally outrageous that a bank or building society should lend you money in the form of a mortgage and have the outright temerity to expect you to repay them on a monthly basis!! :mad:TEDDYRUKSPIN wrote:Pop into a branch and bring the letter with you. !!!!!! haven't they heard of mortgage holidays? It certainly can't be your fault so complain and if they don't agree to waive your payments for a further 5 months as a gesture of goodwill then take your business elsewhere.

I missed eddy's post so you were probably answering that but there is a problem with the edit function so I can't change my one above.0
