    Am sure OP knows it was their own fault, but as is increasingly the norm, is looking for someone else to foot the bill.

    No, doesn't work for uncut branches.
    No negligence in that case, it's only when someone leaves them in a dangerous state you can make a claim.

    I'm in the minority, but good luck to the op on this as well.

    Sounds like the car you drive is trying to compensate for something.

    How can you blame a tree for driving in to it? This is one of the most ridiculous things I have read on this CR forum and that is saying something!
