The Holsteins are black and white - the Jerseys are pale brown.
There is a link in hamsters post (#5) to show which 3 are the correct answers, and that leaves the wrong answer.0 -

Agreed. I grew up in a farming community in Aberdeenshire which included the Mackies farms. This is the incorrect statement.0 -
right then that probably is right although the cows arn't milking themselves ,a robot machine is doing it (sorry)0

Don't feel bad. It was good of you to post the comp and a hard question unless you have some knowledge of farming0 -

Correct Angie, Jersey cows are in the pic and they are brown.and these cows use voluntary access milking, so they DO milk themselves.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

the correct answer is definitely 3. Mackie’s jersey cows are black and white as all the others are true & this one is false. The cows do milk themselves if you watch the video, milking robots, at the very end it says that the cows decide when they want to be milked & just walk in & are milked by the computerised robot, they are not herded inPositivity is the key to success0

The cows decide when to go and be milked, the machine only does it when they get there, seen it done ..no humans needed and all the robot does is detect when a cow turns up ready and obliges it.
I'm hoping someone invents something similar for cat litter traysHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
