Hi can some explain the difference between the i3 -2310 m and the i3 -380m and the i3 -370m processor's

Please keep it simple and would a basic user notice the difference?

    I had the same dilemma.

    As I understand it the 2310 is a second generation processor (newer) whilst it has a lower speed rating than the 380 it is better on the CPU benchmark review. it works more efficiently and can do more at once.

    The higher the processor scores is better 370 (2222), 380 (2319), 2310 (2555) - Rank , lower is better 319,303 and 275 respectively.


    In reality whether you would notice much difference I do not know - possibly not for general use.

    I went for the 2310 with 4GBRAM and 500GB hard drive. It had the same RAM, bigger hard drive for the same price in the same base machine.
