My mother was having a clear out of her attic and stumbled across two National Savings books.
They were the old savings stamp type. Can you cash these in? The face value is only £5 2s 6d on one and £8 1s on another.
That said the stamps are beautiful with pictures of Prince Charles as a boy, a galleon ship, Princess Ann, a Knight, Squirrel and others :T
I was saying to my OH that this is a nice way to save where you get a nice "stamp" for your effort.
