Problems paying by Paypal

I bought something from Ebay and after getting the confirmation email with the obligatory 'pay now' link button it takes me to the page which lists the item and at the bottom is a confirm button. Whenever I click it an error page comes up :

Now, I've been using this method for years and never before come across this. I contacted Paypal and they gave me some troubleshooting methods regarding cookies which I've done but I still have this problem.

Has anyone else had problems like this?

TIA

I regularly have problems like this with Ebay and PayPal - for example getting stuck in an endless login loop when trying to revise an item. I think the fact is that Ebay try to make the user interface too complex and don't do adequate testing before releasing new features.

Usually for me the only way round is to try a different browser, and go back to the original browser a few days later when they will (probably) have fixed it.

I've tried IE8 and Chrome and both have the same problem. I've even tried both on my xp and vista machines too. Thanks anyway.

I have never had a problem with Firefox - maybe I am just lucky or never found the loop.
