Recs for a DAB Radio

  • I have a 30-odd quid Red DAB upstairs that I got from Sainsbury's. It does a reasonable job - unlike the one my mother bought me (from Woolworths), insisting that I was just paying for a fancy brand if I spent more than £20.

Haven't got the heart to tell her that her 'perfectly adequate' DAB self destructed within 36 hours of purchase.

I would consider getting the Marshall one, but can't quite understand why they don't just make 10 louder...:D

Downstairs has a Denon system and DD's pit has a Pure system, so we are fairly well equipped here, anyway.

Although I could do with a proper little system upstairs as well.....[wanders off to look at the Richer Sounds website again]

Oh, and if you register as a VIP member of Richer Sounds, you get an email with a voucher for money off a certain level of spend. All moneysaving here :)

I've had a Pure 2 for years in the kitchen, and an even older Pure 1 for the bedroom, still going great.
