Recommend Removal Companies

Could any of you recommend a removal company? We are moving from Greater London to East Yorkshire on the 19th January.
We are collating quotes - Britannia quoted a 'rough' figure of £800, but their final figure came in at £2265 ex VAT and insurance :eek: We have a small 3 bed semi, nothing unexpected.
Anyway, any companies that come recommended would be very much appreciated.

I got a very competitive quote from A2b mini moves, but Im not sure if they do outside london?

Not that I can help with any recommedations, but we are only moving 15 miles up the road and was quoted £1500 :eek: Going to be doing it ourselves I think!!0

I got quoted £360 for 2 bedroom terraced house 10 minutes walk away to our new house. Its a little on high side, but I prefer a company thats renowned for handling things as they are actioneers. Also have insurnace as I cant afford to pay for ought, and supply boxes for free (to return)0
