I am new to site and not sure if I can access the help I need on here.
This is happening frequently (daily at least) on my 2 yr old acer laptop. Recently I have had to close down, usually Internet Explorer, using ctrl alt delete. Can anyone advice me why this is happening and how to solve it.
Thanks

There will be people along soon who have more technical knowledge than I aweebargain but can I suggest in the meantime that you post the version of windows and version of Internet Explorer you're using.0

First thing to try is downloading and installing a different browser - such as Chrome or Firefox. If they work reliably it would probably be a good idea to just stop using IE, as it's probably the least reliable browser you can get.
If you continue to get problems, this may be a symptom of an underlying hardware problem causing memory corruption. You can test for this with tools such as Memtest 86+, but try a different browser first.0 -
I'll bet the OP is using Windows Vista......0
