I don't see why, it gives you a right to appeal at the end. I just told them I wish to discuss my denied application as I have no outstanding debts/history of debts etc!! I'm not gonna give up till I get it. Natwest turned me down 3 times & I went into my branch twice a week talking to someone trying to sort it out & I got one in the end!!!I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0

Remember there will be a human reading your email and considering it. Being 'stroppy' may not be the best way to 'win them over'..
I also see from one of your other posts, your a housewife. This may have been an issue too (income £0). you may have had a better chance with a card that requests household income, not personal income.0 -

Egg refused me when I first applied. My next move was to open a savings account with them and deposit a fair amount of dosh in it. After it had been there for a month or so, I appealed (or applied again, I can't remember) and spoke to someone who actually makes decisions. She could see the money of mine that they already had, and so approved me immediately.0 -

I do work PT, with that and WTC & CTC it adds up to £1300 yr. Thats my personal income not including any1 else!:DI'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0 -

An email appealing might work.....a stroppy one won't!0 -
I didn't throw a temper tantrem, just asked for my application to be reviewed because I think I do meet the requirements etc. Still no reply though, does anyone have a number for the department that deals with this? The normal Egg one just says e-mail themI'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0
