    Have sent a stroppy E-mail!!

That won't help. They'll be even less likely to give you a card now!
  • I don't see why, it gives you a right to appeal at the end. I just told them I wish to discuss my denied application as I have no outstanding debts/history of debts etc!! I'm not gonna give up till I get it. Natwest turned me down 3 times & I went into my branch twice a week talking to someone trying to sort it out & I got one in the end!!!

Remember there will be a human reading your email and considering it. Being 'stroppy' may not be the best way to 'win them over'..

I also see from one of your other posts, your a housewife. This may have been an issue too (income £0). you may have had a better chance with a card that requests household income, not personal income.

Egg refused me when I first applied. My next move was to open a savings account with them and deposit a fair amount of dosh in it. After it had been there for a month or so, I appealed (or applied again, I can't remember) and spoke to someone who actually makes decisions. She could see the money of mine that they already had, and so approved me immediately.

An email appealing might work.....a stroppy one won't!
  • I didn't throw a temper tantrem, just asked for my application to be reviewed because I think I do meet the requirements etc. Still no reply though, does anyone have a number for the department that deals with this? The normal Egg one just says e-mail them
