I'm looking at a trip to the above for next summer,
what is the best way into the albania/macedonia, has anyone travelled there, and can give recommendations

Flights into corfu and a ferry across, or tirana or skopje, from manchester/liverpool/LBA/Doncaster/E.Mids

I'm looing to visit saranda/butrint / gjirokastra / lake ohrid (macedonia) / taranna / ulcinj/cetinje
before getting upto dubrovnik for a sail to split and fly home.

Just have a few points you might have already considered.

Flights to from UK, Tirana do get busy and more expensive once the school hols with people returning for the summer. You should find a better priced flight to Corfu during the summer months and the ferry from Corfu to Saranda is very do-able.

I visited Saranda and Butrint from northern mainland Greece last year, as they are quite southerly and we just did the visit and back easily in one day. You would spend a day travelling down from Tirana. Roads are improving there but still poor in parts by our standards, which slows down journey times, although this might not be important!

There is a lot of very specific advice on these forums. Have you seen them?

Thanks bronie have looked of tripadvisor and lonely planet read some good advice ..
The Albanian website all seem a little outdated with many links not working etc
