basically i have a friend who works at the royal bank of scotland and had him check how much i still owe them on a debt from 4-5 years ago. its about £1750 and i plan to start paying it back soon.
i dont know how much of that amount is charges, but i know that its a fair bit.
so what do i do?
firstly, can i claim charges on the account back, even though its an account i ignored when i knew i couldnt pay it?
secondly, what procedures would i have to go through to do that? i have no record of anything to do with the royal bank of scotland.
