  • Yes I third that too - can I wish you all a Happy and Healthy 2007 and a very Merry Christmas, it has been a pleasure sharing these boards with you all and I have made some very good cyber friends on here; in fact too many to mention but I am sure you all know who you are.

One bit of advice I am going to stick to is "It's only a bargain if it's needed" sometimes I have gone 1,000 miles an hour and then thought on reflection was it is a true bargain ? The health and beauty products were different because as a family of 6 we will use them but when I had a mountain of bodyform to last me way past menopause I realised I'd gone abit far on the moneysaving !!

All the best - Welshy x
;) I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL ;)
  • lol! welshy i am still using the bodyform from boots :D and the natural collection, the med face masks and little me baby toiletries. now it's tesco's turn to give me stuff for free :rotfl:

as for IOABIINI (it's only a bargain if i need it?) i've only bought £60 worth, but realised last night that it it actually free stuff, especially with the toothpaste discount so i ought to buy handwash. off to hunt through my leftover coupons to see if i have enough £1 ones to make it worthwhile! husband is horrified at the thought of going shopping today when i went last night. i blamed him, he let the baby eat all the sausages for breakfast today and i am pretending we need sausages urgently :rotfl:

  • just a thought about the handwash, will 12 of them cost £19.92 before bogof? is there something cheap that i can buy to take it over the threshold, that people know will be classed as toiletries?

i suppose i could just buy something i want, after all on the £20 spend i can get the £10 off in coupons and 9.96 in bogof, so it will only cost pennies anyway.

  • Yes - this is also my first credit card free xmas thanks to this site.

Big thanks also to Boots for the Time Delay:beer: , Bodyform - enough to last another year and Mr Tesco for his H & B leaflets:j .

MERRY XMAS TO ALL AND A MONEYSAVING NEW YEAR
  • not only have i got toiletries for free this month, i was given some coupons in swaps (all ones my tesco happily takes) and last night i saved £33 off my shopping! that paid for husband's beer, my velvet trousers that went through for £10 instead of £15, and thomas aquadraw reduced to £20 for roo's birthday in july. excellent :D

also managed this month to send out lots of H+B coupons to people who didn't have them in their store :D isn't MSE great!

    I add a bar of Tesco's 24p soap to take me over £20 when I buy 12 handwashes ;)
There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

    £2 savers club 2014 No.32 - £104 (was £504)

so glad you've replied, i was wondering if i'd been daft for suggesting it, thinking surely nobody would consider buying 12 handwashes :rotfl:

The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow, For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.

  • Got back from a H & B run to Tescos first thing this morning using up the mirror vouchers when a friend popped round and spied the emptied contents of the 4 carrier bags which somehow cost me 44p. Gosh you've got a lot of wrapping to do was her comment or have you opened your pressies early!

Well its like Xmas most days on this site thanks to you guys. I wish you all a Very Merry Xmas and Happy New Year.

Thats me done - I'm all vouchered out now. Well until next time.
