That's what people say about me and then they see how much I save by doing 3 seperate shops daily using money off coupons and how many points I have ;) They are absolutely gobsmacked by my running total.
There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

..............but in the true mse style LOL
well done for getting yet more products free
Ive now put all my toiletries in loft ready for carboots
As i said earlier I couldn't resist another coupon bashing session and using H&B combined with others I parted with (over 2 shops) £1.90 on £67 worth of shopping:T
If this is to continue into new year (hope so as I picked up 25 somerfield mags today which yield over £900 in coupons!!) I think I might have to be more canny in my shopping by not using my cc as much as I do. What do others think? I'm a little concerned about the amount of coupons I use with my CC's
Welshy do you always use yours??
    Anyway back to the packing.
While I'm rabbiting can I thank all those who post on here and any of the other threads - I have saved so much money over the last couple of months it's simply unbelievable and I am so much better off for it as I have not used my credit cards any where near as much as I would normally have over this period (well there are some things you simply can't get in Tesco!!!!)
    Thanks again

  • Annie I tend to rotate our clubcards to even it out and not bulk the points up on any one card.

Funny thing, yesterday the SA did not give me my green bag points again and I asked as my mum was next in line could she have them - well if I did I had a stony glare and a definite NO. I don't know about anyone else, I stress so much about handing over vouchers even now that I always completely forget about my green points until it's too late. So the majority of the time I use my bags but don't get the points.

I wasn't going to get anymore Sanex but mum is hinting very strongly indeed that it's "wonderful stuff" that I may get her some tomorrow.

I was a bit tired and emotional (in the real sense) yesterday when I put my daily £20 worth through. The SA was really nice, but a bit on the ball and said that I could only have one voucher per transaction. She would put through the higher one to get the best benefit and use the 50 pointer though.

As I had my mind on the £100 worth in the next transaction with £50 of 'purple' vouchers I wasn't paying much attention so let it go. (I spin a yarn not to use my Clubcard for these transactions, call me paranoid....)

Later I realised I should have split my toiletries into two lots of £10 and used two £2.50 vouchers and two 50 points ones. I might go back and talk nicely to CS today if I have time.

I won't be back on here again for a couple of days I expect, so Happy Christmas to every one. Also, a HUGE THANKYOU to everyone for their tips on the several coupon threads I have been following. I must have made four figures considering all I have bought to move into my new house.

Tomorrow I'll be raising a glass to you all and wishing us a very Prosperous New Year...... :j
