Having a national ban (by letter)for policy misuse/abuse, purely caught by clubcard use, and store bans for RandRing, I always act on the "cautious" side.

Read through the "Tesco" threads and you will see various incidences of people being asked "not to shop here any more"

I agree I have been careful, I've only been 'couponing' i.e manufactuers and H&B since last month and the most I have given over was £30 this included clothing vouchers and was on a £145.00 shop.:D

I know some people get their shopping for pennies, but I for one am not brave enough to do this, I am happy with what I can get away with.;)

I agree I have been careful

You are wise to be cautious, I replied to your post as I couldnt decide whether it was a sarcastic jibe(re MI5 etc) or not, and just wanted to let people know that Tesco's DO bite back at times.

Had 2 curious "shops" today...no problem each time with any of the clothing coupons, using the Simply Spring £10, 2x£7, 2x£6, and 2x£6 QK.....off min £70spends.

Where the curiosity came was with the £1.25 QK coupons, on the products I bought to pack out my clothing buys..........

    Had a few where I bought 6 Radox Herbal bath(£9.48), 6 Johnsons Shower and shave (£13.14) 2 Wash n Go (£3.48)...before bogof = £26.10...........After bogof £11.85......5 of each accepted........No problems

Another one where I bought 2 Dove Body Lotion at £4.98(£9.96) and 2 Radox Herbal Bath £3.16)..........the till beeped after 2 Beauty coupons, not allowing the (planned 2 toiletry ones)

Does this indicate that the Dove Body Lotion is now "beauty only".........or have i missed it somewhere and its always been "beauty only"

Another where I bought 6 Palmolive Shower gels at £1.79....total £10.74.....till beeped on beauty coupons..only allowing 2x£1.25 toiletry.

So this must indicate that Palmolive Shower gel is toiletry only.........

Had a couple of others with no problems.

Decided to hold back on some £1.25 coupons to see what the next bogof change brings.

No complaints here...just observations...had another good day.....

Can anyone in the know, PM me about the Dove Spa days please.....seem to have missed this(although still valid until 21st)

I have been to 4 Tescos today - making 7 different transactions. I have saved over £200+ and decided that today's h&b haul will be donated to our local Guide group for their summer fete.

I used the £2 toiltery vouchers, and the quit vouchers. The one transaction I did with the Dove one of my quit vouchers was not accepted by the till.

All in all though an excellent day

Unfortunately the in-store vouchers are getting scarcer, Ive never seen any H&B vouchers in the 20 stores I visit, and the 8 different stores Ive visited over the weekend have also been devoid of Quit Kits as well, you could always ask on here, or the other coupon threads if anyone has any spare(read back a page or so on here), or failing that, ebay usually has some.

  • Quick question - since using various QK vouchers I've stopped using my clubcard at the till - but I have saved the receipts. Do I get the points added on or will it look suspicious (all the 1.25 coupons??). Am I right in saying that when they scan the barcode to add the points all my shopping details are recorded - ie they know exactly what I bought/how I paid etc etc?? would be grateful for clarification. Many thanks!!

Adding points at customer services, if done constantly, apparently brings up a flag on your account. People have been questioned about this in the past.

If the powers that be, feel the need to investigate your CS added points, then they could look at the individual transactions, and find out everything you've bought, where and when you bought it, on which till and who served you.

Having said all that, Tesco must know this is going on, and seemingly, happily allow it, so you arent doing anything wrong, so really there should be no charge to answer..........

I never use my CC on multi-coupon transactions, but then again, i'm not supposed to be in any of their stores anyway.

    Addendum...just found this thread.......
