The lilac vouchers are definitely temperametle, I put the £5.00 kids at the top of the pile & wouldn't scan, he did a few other clothes & H&B trying to scan it inbetween but wasn't having any of it.
So I went to CS gave me £5.00 cash back even though visa paid, & wrote on my receipt clothing coupon taken bracketing the lot.
Now how can I take any of it back? My store only does exchanges with on receipt.

Also a word of warning, I was going to say if asked, what the vouchers were that I used, I would say clubcard vouchers. However I think they can see what till you used by the 4th lot of digits shown on the bottom of your receipt.
I have seen CS going to tills asking the checkout op to produce the recent vouchers.
My store is hot & I think too much.

Did you buy the required amount of childrens clothes, as the £5 one is only for childrens clothes.

The info on the bottom of every receipt tells you the date, time, store number, till number and operator number. Combine this with a ClubCard(Tesco Identity Card), and they know exactly what you did, when you did it, and where you did it......................Be careful!!
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Just picked up several quit kits - new stock in as our tesco has been out of stock all week. The bad news is the quit kit envelope does not contain any money off coupons. !!!!

Today I was talking to someone I know who works in Tesco. She said that the manager at her store uses the vouchers out of the Quit packs (and others) to deliberately gain credit from head office when they have not really been used by customers!!!! Apparently he sees it as a way of offsetting some of the store's "leakage" and making his figures look better in the process.

Thought it was the customer Mr T was targeting with "Every Little Helps" - not managers whose stores are showing too much "leakage." Wonder if this is a local thing or is going on nationally?

Wonder if area managers are aware of such conduct and just turn a blind eye to it at customers expense?!!!
Mr. T - Stop overcharging your customers.

Having a national ban (by letter)for policy misuse/abuse, purely caught by clubcard use, and store bans for RandRing, I always act on the "cautious" side.

Read through the "Tesco" threads and you will see various incidences of people being asked "not to shop here any more"

I bought sun cream a few weeks ago and I wasn't sure which category they came under so I asked the checkout assistant if he would try them all to see if any of them worked (I would have had toiletries, beauty & healthcare). I am pretty sure all of them worked :T

For a free spa day with treatment for two people you have to buy £10 Dove pro age stuff and send the receipt off. Well the body creams (£4.99) are currently on buy 2 for £6, buy 2 of these and something small like hand cream or deodarant and the bill will come to £7.98, then you can use a £2 off toiletries and a 1.25 off beauty and you are right down to £4.73.

    Hope this helps someone.
