Please could everyone that does a succesful shop post which products they bought along with the combination of vouchers they used.
It will help us all to know which combos work best... Thks
Will try this later;
6 x Sanex = 10.74 less BOGOF glitch as posted above (7.44) , total to pay £3.30
Will try 2 x £1.25 and 1 x £2.50, should be £1.70 in credit.Who's the more foolish: the fool, or the fool who follows him?OBI-WAN KENOBI:beer: :A :beer:0 -

Gosh, could not believe my luck. First shop was 4x Plax together with some groceries, came to £19.93, £14.17 after bogof. Less:
£2.50 H&B
2x £1.25 toiletry QK
2x £1.25 beauty QK
4x £1 Plax QK
2x £1 H&B (third one beeped & was given back)
plus few other coupons, before I knew it total was down to 17p!! so put DM £4 back in purse.
Second shop was clothes, report on other thread.

BTW if you had a Boots £2.50 voucher you could use that for Men's Nivea shaving stuff... see Boots grabbit thread. HTH.
Yes...that worked. Thanks for your help. :j
I can work out the BOGOFF's but I struggle with the more complicated 2 for £4 or 2 for £3 onesFool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.0 -

It worked yesterday for me!0 -
Fingers crossed I am hoping to get up to York next week and I wondered how good or how bad the Tescos in York are for accepting the H and B/Quit/clothing etc vouchers ? Usually it is Tesco Clifton Moor we use sometimes Askam Bar if we use the park and ride, and on odd occassions Thirsk. Have we missed any Tescos?
Clifton Moor seem to be very OK about accepting coupons but it is generally late in the evening when we go. Mind you when we do go I dont usually have many coupons to offer and only legitamate ones, no Somerfield magazine, Sainsburys, out of date coupons or Superdrug £5 coupons anyway :rotfl:
My daughter is at uni in York so we try and get up to see her but usually what happnes is that after a few hours we have a massive argument, usually over money so she does not want to see or talk to us and then I use the rest of the time to go shopping - Tesco and Boots and any shop with a sale mainly!:D

in tesco stafford today my coupons were scrutinised. the staff have to call a supervisor over for all coupons!
the till refused my second £1.25 quit voucher, no idea why but never mind - if the items are on bogof and you use one voucher then you're getting them for a quarter of the usual price so it's still worth doing if you want the items.
she did accept 2 of my clothes vouchers - a £6 quit and a £5 spring so i saved £11 off a £31 kids shop - but i wanted to use other clothes vouchers too boohoo!
she said everyone has to do it now because coupons have been abused. i only handed over 4 coupons and the till refused one so just for 3 coupons she called the supervisor. it seems daft - surely it would cost less for tesco to fix their glitches and stop the tills accepting too many vouchers than use up so much staff time on checking coupons'bad mothers club' member 13

I have always found Stafford Tesco very difficult for taking coupons. Every member of staff sticks by the one coupon only rule as if their life depends on it. I did get some extra ones accepted last time when I was actually buying the product but again the supervisor was called. I have also had a play with the self scanner and got extra coupons accepted, the machine was just over ridded when it bleeped.
I think Stafford Tesco is best saved for days when you are in a foul mood and just spoliling for a fight. Do your shopping one item at a time, go to a diffeernet till each time and give them one coupon each time and then pay the rest of your bill in pennnies!
I am desperate to go in and try the Plax one out. I have about 16 plax coupons so i would like to know what they would do about it if I rolled up at a till with 16 bottles of Plax!

Had a great day over 2 transactions at 2 different Tescos. I got 10 of the Original Source in all different flavours (REALLY nice stuff), 4 x Plax, 4 x Simple shower gels. SEL was out of date so managed to get R and R on simple stuff, and used a variety of QK, Plax QK and H+B vouchers, as well as a £4 Daily Mail to get money off of milk and reduced pyjamas.
Tried to find the Sure for Men deoderent in the stores that is free with today's Express, but to no avail. Was going to try and combine this with the other vouchers.0
