Will the glitch still be on with the small sanex - taking off £2.49 as bogof instead of £1.79.
6 sanex 6 x £1.79 = £10.74
3 sanex bogof 3 x £2.49 = - £7.47
£10.74 - £7.47 = £3.27 then use coupons £2.50 H&B, £1 H&B,
2 x £1.25 Quick Quit. Which means they then take £2.73 off the rest of your shopping.
I will try this tonight to see if it is still working.

Well this morning, fearing that I will be snowed in tomorrow with 12 foot drifts up to the door and unable to go to tescos I stocked up on my plax, a necessity if the snow is coming.

I bought: 4 plax, a fruit salad, newspaper, ceramic bathroom set reduced to £1.21, a shower curtain reduced to 45p, a smoothie and a bag of cat food. Total was £18.32, it took £5.76 off for the bogof on plax.

I then used: 1 x £2.50 h&b, 1 x £1.00 h&b, 3 x £1.25 quit packs, 2 x £1.00 plax total I paid was only £3.26.

This was on the self-scanner and she wasn’t a happy bunny at having to authorise the vouchers and stated just this once she would approve them but for future it could only be 10% of the total bill. I was going to say well I had purchased the products on the vouchers eg plax but I was too tired and it was too early.

I could have used another 2 x £1.00 plax and another £1.25 voucher making only 1p to pay but I quit whilst I was still ahead as I had lots of bargains today anyway as I had £15 odd off.

Talking of supermarkets etc – Supermarket Sweep returns to ITV at 5.30pm on Monday……………. Right altogether now …………… 1,2,3, when you are at the check out and hear the beep think of the fun you could be having on supermarket sweep !!!

Well I just had to try didn't I... the small sanex glitch still works

£1.79 each but takes off £2.48 for bogof leaving just £1.10 to pay. Coupled with the plax and a quattro women's razor that I wanted to try this should have been a good chance to use a few of my last vouchers.

Alas this was not to be, very, very nice cashier accepted £2.50, £1.25 off toiletries and £1 off plax. Apparently they had had a note off head office to be aware of these coupons

Still, can't complain really

Can someone help me with the maths please? Mr Christmasshopper needs shaving gel. If I buy the Nivea 2 for £4 save £1.56 how many do I need to buy to make the best use of my vouchers? I think I have some of each except the 50 points ones.

I would buy 2x2 to make the till think it is over £10, then use the £2.50 H&B, 2x £1 H&B, 2x £1.25 toiletry QK and 2x £1.25 beauty QK. Let us know how you get on!

BTW if you had a Boots £2.50 voucher you could use that for Men's Nivea shaving stuff... see Boots grabbit thread . HTH.
