Right - I've bought some of these vouchers on eBay - now I want to use them to best advantage!

I know that they can't be used on nappies or wipes but has anybody successfully used them on things like baby shampoo and baby toothbrushes?
  • i think i used them for items including a baby toothbrush last time in december, but not exactly sure. that's a good idea, i'm going to give it a try next time i go.

incidentally my brother took vouchers off me when he worked on the tills a couple of weeks ago (he normally stocks shelves), i got £24 health and £20 toiletries with a credit of around £5 so it was a few vouchers he took. he says nothing has been mnetioned so i don't know how true it is about the claim that the till operators get into trouble. anyone know?

  • last time i also bought some 'kids' bubble bath, it's a yellow bottle and is pineapple scented. but it's rubbish so i wouldn't buy it again. oh, and the kids toothpaste (called milk teeth, by macleans) worked as toiletries, same as adult toothpaste.

The last time I tried to use a stack of Quit Kit and HB vouchers the checkout operator grumbled about being b****cked for taking too many vouchers.
Cos I don't shine if you don't shine.
  • oh. maybe my brother got away with it because he's not till staff and hasn't been till trained in donkeys years.

  • I have found checkout staff not very happy about taking the vouchers so I have switched to self-scanners if I am purchasing my toiletries, usually I do 2 transactions and the scanner supervisor just authorises each voucher that beeps as she knows some may be points vouchers.

I have had 100% success doing this so will stick with this method for the moment. I picked up some mens deodrant today reduced to 33p a can - (kind of like lynx but tesco make).

Anyway, it smells ok and is cheaper than my normal air freshner.

I've been lucky enough to find a few spares today (most unusual!!), so I have made up four envelopes of vouchers, which I'll send out second class mail tomorrow.

    Each contains

    1 x Quit Kit vouchers
    1 x H&B vouchers
    1 x new Spring vouchers

I would be happy to send them to four people who have been unlucky and not found any - so please don't ask if you've got some already!

    PMs please.

ALL SPOKEN FOR NOW I'M AFRAID - I have replied to all PMs received.

    Hi guys
Just wanted to let you know that the new spring clothes vouchers will scan together with the £6 quick kit and the blue ones. I bought a £35 jumper tonight for £10 using £6 QK, £7 new spring, £6 blue (ladies) and £6 blue (mens) sadly it doesn't fit so it will have to go back!
Also got £16.80 normal household shop for £1.68 after using coupons.
    Happy days!
