My boyfriend got a letter from Santander (regarding an old alliance an leicester loan) last week, saying they were aware of miss selling and to fill in a claim form. We did this as when he took out the loan he was told the PPI was compulsary or he would be turned down. Had a letter back from them less than 1wk later offering him just over 4k!!
He made a successful claim for 2months during the life of the PPI which was £700 in total, the just took this off the refund amount, so it would of been almost 5k without the claim!
We are now going to look into claiming off his credit card!
