'Dimplex' versus 'Winter Heat' panel heaters

Whereas I have heard of Dimplex, 'Winter Heat' is new to me.
I have to obtain and install some electric, slimline heaters and would appreciate any comments on these two brands if anyone has personal experience.

I've fitted both. Winter Heat are OK, made by Robinson Willey (so not no-name Chinese tat) and they do some quite good looking slimline heaters, otherwise there isn't a lot to choose between them except price IMO. I found the Winter Heat good value at QVS, and about half the price of Dimplex;

Don't forget that all electric fires are 100% efficient - so the only way to reduce the "cost" (of ownership) is to pay less when you buy the fire in the first place.
A £15 2kW fire will cost exactly the same to run as a £100 2kW fire.0 -
Just bumping to see whether there are any more opinions. Please remember I am taking about panel heaters and not 'electric fires'!0

I'm not sure if this applies to panel heaters but i've recently been looking at convector heaters and Dimplex (and also DeLonghi) had 3 year guarantees but the cheaper brand only seemed to have a 1 year so on a cost per year basis I opted for the Dimplex. Of course it may be that the other brand's guarantee wasn't clearly indicated which does happen sometimes but thought I'd mention.0
