E credit plus?!?!

HELP i signed up to e-plus platinum yest thinking it was a credit card but as i finished signing terms and conditions i realised they had taken £99.95 straight out of my account and my bank are un able to stop this as i signed. i now realise this is a complete scam but have read how they do not refund money and can basically help themselves to ur cash whenever they like. Can i just close my current bank account and open a new one?? please help

Funny how they won't let you see their prices until after you've signed up. I guess they are pretty poor value.

I would never buy anything from that dodgy looking website. Not very professional.

£99.95? According to their T&Cs the application and enrolment fee is £79.95 (£65.95 enrollment fee and £14.00 application fee). If you cancel you should be able to get the enrolment fee back, but you lose the application fee: £14.

I have just phone this company about a refund they have said the is a £7.00 non refundable charge and id you want the money put back into your account via your card it will take 5-7 days and you will only receive £20.00 of the money you paid. Then do as advised on numerous threads on this forum. Write to them recorded delivery demanding the money back. Add that if a full refund is not made, a complaint about them to the FSA and OFT will be made, resulting in a far bigger fee to them than refunding the money.
