Advice wanted re. tiles.

I assume they expect you to buy new ones because you can't return the miscoloured ones in an unused condition. They're not, technically 'faulty', they don't have an inherent fault, the colour is not quite right.

This is unfortunate but with the Sale of Goods act I believe. Same as if you buy a pair of curtains - a shop won't refund if you have gathered them.

The problem here is they have been installed.

In normal circumstances, you would have rights under Sales of Goods Act, so the seller would be able to offer a remedy of their choice: refund, repair or replacement.

But the fact they have been used could be deemed to have accepted them.

Is it possible to carefully remove the tiles without affecting the surrounding ones? If so maybe you could persuade them to offer a few free tiles to replace..... (i've never tiled so don't shout at me if this is a silly question.)
