Is there a reason why they are questioning your ID? Has your name or other personal details changed? Has you signature changed?

  • This happened with me I had to send proof of id twice. The first time I got a solicitor I know to send it however it wasnt on headed paper so they wouldnt accept. I have re-sent it certified by the post office and received an e-mail on Friday morning which I have copied below:

Thank you for your email on the 31st August 2011.
I can gladly confirm that we have now received your information and your claim is being worked. Unfortunately I am unable to give you an outcome until your claim has been fully investigated.
We will aim to complete your claim and reach a final decision within 8 weeks and will be in touch via post once the investigation is complete.
