Holiday insurance

Hi all. Off on my hols next week to sunny spain.
Arranged the whole lot myself via the webbernet and just have to sort out the holiday insurance to tick all the boxes.
My word! what a minefield holiday insurance is. Exclusions for this, that and the other. I must be honest it confused the heck out of me.
Basically I am looking for a decent cover, predominantly medical wise as I don't think the hotel or RyanAir are going to go bust in the next week.
Both the wife and I are in good health but I'd rather err on the side of caution, especially after reading about that poor chap whose insurance refused to med-evac him home not so long ago. I don't know if it's worth mentioning but we do have a hire car for the week as well so we do intend to do a bit of travelling about and not baking on the beach!
Any recommendations please?
Thanks.
