Browser Disappeared

Hi
I wonder if someone could help me.
I'm fine with the basics of my laptop, but haven't a clue if any problems occur:o
The top of the page where the browser/favourites/tools etc has gone off the page. If I move the cursor to the top of the page it drops down, but with some bits missing e.g google.
Could anyone explain in simple terms what I need to do to get this info back on the page.
