not if they've been deleted, although i'm not sure that Facebook is a valid witness in court.0

Since all the newish updates. A lot of the Chat Windows get saved in your Messages Box.
When ever I send a message to someone, if we are both online at the same time when they reply, it comes up in my chat box as well as a message notifcation.
You will need to look through all of the messages thoughTech Savvy Student trying to help and learn

thanks - its not Facebook i would want in court!! its me...a friend i know has been charged with damaging an item on a particular date only the owner of the item told me a month previous that they had an accident with it and smashed it!! (the accused was abroad on this date - so being unfairly charged with an offence) - the complainant fell out with the accused and venomously decided to get "one up" on the accused!! if i could get a written dialogue along with my statement it would add substance to the denial.Give blood - its free0 -
really cant see such info being admissible in a court of law, after all whos to say you have'nt created am account in this persons name and had this conversation with yourself?Live each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0

I dunno, there are ways and means of proving that the account that the messages were sent from was his real account. It doesn't prove however that it was him who sent them as anyone could log in and converse through it.£8/£96 for ToughMudder fee.0 -
but there would be no way to prove that someone has'nt logged into his/her account and had that conversation, this would never stand up in courtLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0

The witnesses will be sworn in under oath with a stark warning about commiting Perjury.
Lieing in a Court carries a hefty penalty so you may find the truth comes out anyway.
I would be saddened if some silly Facebook waffle stood up in a Court of Law in any case.
It would be so simple to falsify.
I've been in a Court where text messages were used as evidence but the Service Provider were the ones who supplied the timestamp of messages, which were tagged next to the text content from the phone.0 -
thanks for your replies..
still not sure what to do but its in the hands of the CPS and the court...
just for clarification Facebook Chat / messages will stand up in court if important in the case of which this is.....as well as text messaging etc.. this is not some "facebook waffle"Give blood - its free0
