  • It might be worth emailing Thompsons with links to all the reviews that mention break-ins - they probably do not know about a lot of them, some people just brush it off and carry on!

    Hello tlc1809,
Just been on trip adviser and can not find your review of 'Levante Beach Apartments. Is this the correct name?
Can you post a link to it and the other reviews you have made about this,
    Thanks

Those 'reviews' are a joke !!!!

4 of those so called 'reviewers' have not even been there yet, they only travel in September !

    Farce.

To the OP, horrendous to hear your story, compensation ?

    No.

I have put reviews on tripadvisor, holiday watchdog and holidays uncovered, the hotel 'Levante Beach Apartments' also commented with utter lies to cover themselves, this comment was removed by tripadvisor. The Hotel has has so many break-ins according to tripadvisor that I am surprised that Thomsons endorse it still.

    shocking!
we were in the club apartments over the road at the same time but never heard any rumours,

Contact a national newspaper.People need to be warned about this . If I was going to Benidorm I would want to know. Although my advice is avoid Benidorm like the plague for what it is in general . We love the Costa Blanca and have always felt very safe when we have visited, but Benidorm is not typical of the area.

The Times travel section may be very interested. Lest we forget the appalling tragedy that happened to Madeleine McCann and her family.

Whoever did that, has never been caught. Quite possible that the perpetrator(s) trawl the net looking for stories such as the one you describe, to find out where a similar crime could be committed.

Shaming the hotel will force it to beef up security, and could prevent another kidnap.
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:
  • I always move a chair behind the door and put a couple in front of patio doors.

    Still, what an awful experience.

We always do exactly the same.
