I'm looking at a Toyota Corolla 1.6 T3. It's a 2004 plate & garage claims it's only done 27000 miles.
They are asking £4795 & I'm wondering what will be a fair offer to put in?

Go low as £3800 and he should hopefully meet you halfway(4300-4400).0

£4500 with a years MOT, full tax and a full tank of fuel and a few other bits and bobs. I think going in 20% under will get snorts of derision.0

You like the car, the age and the mileage so what do you think is wrong with the price? Is it much lower than you expected, much higher or do you automatically assume that a haggle is in order?
If its a trader you make an offer and he either takes it, haggles back, or laughs. If its private, if you offer too little they take it personally and go in the huff. Either way, know how much you want to pay, have folding to flash and be happy with the car or walk away.0 -

Looks about £1000 too expensive to me.
Heres an 05 one with 29K miles for £1000 less.

That's kinda what I thought. Especially when I've done a free valuation on What Car website.
The car advertised in the autotrader is sadly no where near where I live. However, I still may use it as an example.0 -
dealer probably gave £4000 for it so dont hold your breath0
