Blackhorse ppi refused

Hi all for over one year i have been fighting Blackhorse to get my mis-sold PPI back which i took out between 2003 and 2005 these were 4 different loans. last year i received a cheque for 440 pound for one of my loans and in May this year i got another cheque for 96.00. These loans were in 2003 and 2005.

My other 2 loans that i have been waiting to see the outcome off are also from 2003, but my PPI on them is one is for over 4000 and the other is for over 3000.

I received my letter from Blackhorse this morning only to find that they will not be paying me out as they think they have sold the PPI fairly!!!!

They also say i cant contact the Ombusman because they will only consider any complaints regarding policies that were sold between 1st December 2001 and 31st March 2003!!!!!!!:mad: My 2 complaints are for May 2003 and August 2003.

Can anyone give me advice im at my wits end with this.:(

They should have advised you that you can actually refer your complaint to the Finance And Leasing Association (FLA) instead of the Ombudsman.

Yes they have said i can contact Finance Leasing Association, but i looked on there web page and it gives you a list of companies they deal with but no mention of Blackhorse

I believe Blackhorse loans between 1st April 2003 and 13th January 2005 do fall under the FLA's remit.

You could call them on 020 7836 6511 to double check.
