Fresh fruit/veg boxes delivered?

I am a customer of Castle Farm Dundrum and I can assure you that their produce is anything but 'tasteless'. Can I ask have you actually tried the boxes or are you just making a uneducated guess?
I'm pleased you're pleased suzie and if you go back and read my post you will see I have not tried the produce - I asked another poster if he had because the promotional material and the website both stated that the boxes contained white sliced hovis pan bread and showed pictures of the tasteless, pale orange, dutch tomatoes that I wouldn't buy if they were the only tomatoes in the shops.
Now, I find both sliced white pan bread and dutch tomatoes tasteless. Perhaps I am overly fussy but it is how I find them. What is hilarious is that yesterday I asked a question which if answered in a straightforward, non-defensive, non-aggressive manner might just have encouraged me to try the boxes, but instead Nigel and many of the other posts defending him have attacked me and my right to an opinion.
Obviously you are all as entitled to disagree with me as I am to not like tasteless food but it strikes me as a pretty strange sort of marketing.

I know Nigel through the box deliveries and I know he is passionate about supplying only the best produce available. I presume he was probably worried about how your initial comment would look to prospective customers! I do agree with you that local tomatoes have a taste of their own. The best about it is I know he is sourcing locally grown tomatoes for next years season to avoid the need for imported produce as I was asking about it lately. Castle Farm would bend over backwards to try and accommodate all their customers.
I would reccommend you try a box for yourself, you may be pleasantly surprised!!0
