I received some back pay and been put into a higher tax band. If my work place had payed me what they suppose to from the beginning this would not have happened:mad:. Is there any way I can get this tax back or am I gong to have to lump it? Thanks everyone

If you are on the correct tax code, it will be adjusted through PAYE. Your other option is to claim it back from HMRC at the end of the tax year.0

Does all the backpay relate to earnings in this current tax year or does some relate to a previous tax year?0

if its not a constant amount the amount over will more than likely be paid back in your following pay packet as no 2 said:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one
