Anyone know OVO's IGT cost???

Any one have their gas supply with OVO. Seems a good deal on the price comparison, but unfortunately it doesnt include the independent gas transfer cost (IGT) and i can't find it searching on the internet.

Thanks

I would hazard a guess at around the £40 mark, thats about what most of the other companies charge (give or take a few quid)
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
  • Is there anywhere to find out exactly how much each company charge customers for IGTs?

I've set a petition up on HM government petitions about this too! please take a look if you can sorry I can't post links yet!

Iwould guess the best way to find out is call them or e mail them and ask them
telling them which Independant Gas Transpertation network your supplied by, and your post code area you are in, and then you will know if they have a charge

but note not all suppliers charge a additional fee for ALL tariffs...
eg im sure Eon usually charge IGT fee of around £38 per anum
collected through the first tier by adjusting the threshold before reaching tier 2 on the gas, however the don green plan whilst a slightly higher priced tariff than standard theres no IGT charges

also Ibelieve Britisg Gas dont charge IGT as a extra
but that might have been the case of being on their pipes
    as.....

check who actually ownes your IGT Network as if they are still owned by or were previouslly owned by one of the big 6 oftern they dont charge if your on there supply

this link may help if you know your MPR to identify who your IGT IS

Im not sure of that but hey there is a IGT Company listed as

    British Gas Connections Ltd
    30 The Causeway
    Staines
    Middlesex
    TW18 3BY

the name would sugest there is or has been possibly
a link between themselves and British GAS
