Door chain thats not a chain?

My DD has a door chain fitted thats not a door chain IYKWIM.
Its a curved bar with a ball on the end & it hooks to a bracket on the door frame.
It seems much strudier than a door chain.
Looked at the screwfix website & they only have the chain type. Does anyone know what the type I am describing are called?

I can't find the P&P anywhere on this website:mad:
I'm using my DDs laptop & I hate laptops - my BB is down.
Are their P&Ps so high they keep them a secret?:eek:0 -

This is it.
My DD had a wooden door which sits against (level with) the frame. Mine is a UPVC & I think sits proud of the frame, so would it still work?0
