Changing Credit Cards

I am hoping you can help me.
I have an air miles Duo card, which I now want to get rid of as the new air miles scheme has gone down hill.
I want to change it to the tesco club card credit card. Can I just request a new CC through tesco while I still have the one through Lloyds? And do they then take into account the credit I already have available on the other card, or do they completely ignore it?
Thanks.

Yes, they will take into account the credit you already have available.0 -
Of course you can hold more than one card at the same time. Just apply for the Tesco card. With all applications, the new CC will take into account your track record in credit agreements (of any kind).
Your current limits, as well as how much of the available you use regularly will count towards the decision to either accept or decline the application, and, in case of acceptance, what credit limit to allocate to the new card.0
