re-start up problems

Hi, I have suddenly had start up problems, today and yesterday. PC would not boot up, just a black screen. I switched it off using shut down button , and back on again, both times resulting in black and white screen of writing saying Startup repair, Recommended, which is what I chose , instead of start up normal. After a minute or so, it asked if I want it to go back to restore point when pc was working ok.
I selected ok. It took quite a while ,but it did the job ok, but had to enable Avast again on each occasion. I don,t know how far back the repairer has chosen restore point? Obviously I cannot do this every day, the only thing I installed new were drivers for my printer, which didn,t fix the problem, so reverted to original drivers, still problems.This could be totally irrelevant. Any help would be most appreciated.Using windows premium. Added malwarebytes log just done. Cheers Registry Keys Infected: 0

the start-up repair differs from the Windows (in-built) system restore. You might need to reinstall drivers etc. yes. try running the actual system restore (Start menu or type it in the search box ) from within windows -- roll it back to a date when u know the system was working properly.
