Sat/Sun 3rd/4th September What small DFW things will you do today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Morning guys  woohoo its the weekend :j and the first of my 16 days off! I don't think I've ever had 2 weeks off before - usually its a week or 10 days!
So what will I do this weekend?

Hi,
I plan to take advantage of eBay's insertion fee free weekend and list our multi-gym! I'm also making up a picnic with food (fortunately) left over from son's 16th BBQ last night. Will plan meals for week commencing 12/9/11 as I've already organised myself for next week! Online shopping being delivered this morn and that's saved some pennies and fuel!!
Good luck everyone xEverything is ok in the end. If it's not ok, then it's not the end

Morning all!
My budgets been busted this month as it was my daughters birthday and I had MIL staying for a week. Oh and then the dentists. Tried to be low spend but even that all adds up!
So far today I have:-
- totted up what I've overspent, and set up a small standing order into a savings account so I've got it ready this time next year.
Now I've got to:-
- crack on with an hours Lionbridge work, which is all going to go into the 1 debt in 100 days challenge.
- check Vivatic, ditto
- tomorrow make a trip to the allotment and have a look round the neighbourhood for people leaving out cardboard to cover the weeds with. If I'm lucky I'll get wood too!
- do the food plan today for next week, lots of money saving food for the next couple of weeks.
PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBTS

Morning all, hope you don't mind if I join you?! Need a kick up the rear and to toe the line!
I'm house / pet sitting for my parents this week, so virtually nil food expenditure (you should see their freezers... and their allotment!)
Plans for the weekend:- List my DS Lite on eBay (need the funds, and hey, free listing!)
- Low spend weekend (need to pay for a prescription, and will probably go to the pub tomorrow evening, but will stick to soft drinks / water!
- Food from stores
- Plough on with some xmas knitting
Best to all, AShuffling down the path to financial freedom, trying not to get too distracted by shiny things!
