  • hi everyone

thank you to all that replied to my post, just thought i would post a quick update. As you know i had threatening letter from solicitors last week about some money i owe to a creditor - despite being with cccs. Anyway after writing to capquest i had a letter on monday to say they will accept token payments *phew* i have been on DMP since october 2006 and obviously the money cccs are getting is going to my creditor and not capquest, when will capquest start to get the money and leave me alone?!

    thanks

  • hi again

sorry to ask yet another question but you guys seem to be in the know! today i have had 2 phone calls from cap quest, we have caller display so i didnt answer them. i rang the number back and when i realised it was them i hung up.

do i just ignore these calls? obviously they just want more money which i DONT have :(

we are moving soon anyway so they wont have my number for much longer so shall i just ignore the phone?

another of my creditors used to ring about 10-15 times and i just ignored them. that was stressful enough but i am quite worried about these crap quest people.

    thx for reading

    Hi Tiggery!

Don't be afraid to use the expertise that CCCS have, they are there to help you and will be used to dealing with creditors.
As many people have said this particular company are known for it.
Any court would not take a case like yours seriously as you are paying amounts, no matter how small.
It's the people who pay nothing who are at risk.
Keep some standard replies written down near the phone so that if you do get calls out of the blue you can state your rights without faltering and stuttering over what to say.
Keep posting on here too, there is loads of support and advice that will keep you going!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
