Really sorry to be thick but whilst I was in a Tesco Extra earlier I remembered the postings about jelly and custard. I bought 3 of the custard which scanned at 67p and then showed the reduction making them 3 for a £1.
What is supposed to happen? Did I not buy enough?
    Help.:o

You bought enough. As it took off the discount to leave you still paying £1, unfortunately, it didn't work in your store. It doesn't work in all.

If it had of worked, then you would have seen 2 discounts, rather than just the one that is on your recceipt.
The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open
  • Ah, I see. Thanks for that, thought I was going loopy!!:rotfl:
  • Just for anyone else I went to the Banbury store.:o

    Oh errrrrr missus

I had stashed the £1 coin in my pocket and my purse was still in my handbag so I had to rush and fish out my purse and find another £1 coin. Blooming SS till wouldn't accept it but thankfully I had a £2 one there and it took that. My heart was in my mouth!

I'm running out of room for all these and even though I don't eat them, DS1 loves them and I'm starting to wean DS2 so between 2 young hungry boys and some of the BBE dates being July 2012, I figure some more wouldn't hurt. For the purposes of research (does anyone believe that line any more?) I'll check again tomorrow and report back.

P.S. elliemoo - you are my new BFF for finding this glitch :rotfl: Don't suppose someone can find me a nice glitch on soup seeing how winter seems to be almost upon us?

No don't say that. I'm all Tesco'd out and am having problems trying to find anything to buy other than custard/rice.

I've had to overflow from the cupboards to on top of the fridge. Any more and my folks will have me committed as the house will resemble that of a hoarder where you have to navigate room to room through corridors of jelly, custard & rice :o 200 custards in 2 days plus 60 jellies and there's still tomorrow hopefully!

pm me your email i can send the pdf for the cambells soup voucher free soup  says only one per person but loads have used it numerous times
best win in 2011:eek: 4 nights in Las Vegas

Went back tonight after my trial earlier to see if the glitch was still working.
    All working as below:

    Full fat custard
    Chocolate custard
    Banana custard
    Strawberry custard

Now have 20 trays of the various flavours and types.
Got another £3.74 tray of 24 Pepsi Max.
Got 4 more Penne Pasta at 22p.

Please don't just post that the glitch didn't work for you but remember to be more specific. Let us know what you bought and what does and doesn't so we know the flavours that fail! Info is the key!
Probably won't work on Saturday anyway but we thought that yesterday!
    Keep Smiling

I have never bought the jellies or custards before, but after reading all your amazing stories, I thought "free food, it would be rude to ignore"
So I bought 3 tonight, but came out at £1.....
I normally only buy stuff on glitches that I need, or at least use and buy normally. This explains why.
Luckily I only bought the 3, so I put it down to experience:cool:
